This position supports Seed Savers Exchange through the work of onsite seed production of open-pollinated, heirloom varieties. With a focus on assisting with field preparations, transplanting, field maintenance, orchard work, seed harvesting, and seed processing. This year-round position also includes time in the greenhouse, as well as seed packaging, and supporting with order fulfillment duties in the winter months.

The Marketing and Communications Director will provide overall leadership for SSE’s marketing, media, outreach, public relations, communication, and advertising strategies as they relate to sales (retail, wholesale/seed rack, online), donations, membership, events/outreach/education, and promotion of SSE’s mission. Planting intern: 30 hours a week May- July, focused on seeding and transplanting crops, maintaining seedlings in our propagation greenhouse, weeding, early summer harvest for CSA.

We raise vegetables for an 80 member free-choice, market-style CSA from June-December. We rotationally graze beef cattle and seven dairy cows, which we milk for our Grade A Creamery.
This position is one 8-10 hour day per week for the whole year. Farm work consists of CSA harvest and wash/pack, milking and associated cleanup, feeding and fencing livestock, farm infrastructure projects, using and maintaining farm equipment and implements, and planting/weeding/maintenance of vegetable crops.

Quinta CSA Farm is seeking 2 part-time employees for the 2026 season (April-October).

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about working with their hands and must be willing to work outdoors rain-or-shine. Daily tasks include harvesting vegetables, watering the greenhouse, trellising tomatoes, and many other physically demanding tasks.
