How do I control lice on my cattle organically?

Marbleseed has a fact sheet covering this topic that I wrote while working for Organic Valley, a large cooperative of organic dairy farmers. In it, there are a number of options for lice control, but I have found that the best option right now is the enzymatic lice spray available from a company called Crystal Creek.

This product combines soap with enzymes to destroy the exoskeleton of the lice. It is very effective and non-toxic.

As always, you must call your certification agency to get approval on the use of any new product. Never apply any new product without prior approval.
