Midwest Agriculture Conservation Network
Partnerships for Producers
Marbleseed is working together with other farmer-serving and rural support organizations across the Midwest to promote and facilitate climate-related conservation among smaller scale, diversified, organic, regenerative and underserved producers.
Partnering to form the Midwest Agriculture Conservation (MAC)Network, organizations are scaling up to reach a larger, more diverse base of farmers and ranchers, to increase access for small to mid-scale and underserved farmers to USDA’s agricultural conservation programming available through the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).
The Midwest Agriculture Conservation Network (MACN)
Together we are working to help producers overcome barriers and challenges in accessing and implementing CSP and EQIP funding.
This effort is made possible through an innovative public-private partnership with support from philanthropy and the USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service. Farmer-serving organizations like Marbleseed in Wisconsin, Renewing the Countryside in Minnesota, Iowa Valley Resource Conservation and Development in Iowa, Missouri Rural Crisis Center and the Kansas Rural Center are working collaboratively to serve target producers with the information, resources and assistance needed to achieve their conservation goals across the Midwest.
Working together with farmers in their respective states, MAC Network partners will share learning and resources while providing one on one support in planning, project management, technical assistance, and follow-up.
