Mandaamin Institute Field Day - Zinniker Farm

We will tour fields showing the results of 37 years of breeding work to combine quality and yield in the form of yield trials, our nursery, and seed manipulation. This corn partners with super colonies pf bacteria and fungi inside and outside of the plant body to obtain more nutrients with results of goof yields, nutrient density, and better competition with weeds.

We will discuss what we have learned about this corn through our research networks and what nutrient density means for farmers, consumers, and animals. Optional tour of yield trial field at Strickhausen conventional dairy farm after the lunch break.

Participants will need to be able to walk moderate distances.
