Farmer of the Year Field Day: Prairie Bluff Farm

Can bird habitat and prairie complement an operating farm? You betcha! Join us for an engaging day on Steve and Beth Albert's Praire Bluff Farm. The Alberts, who are Marbleseed's 2026 Farmers of the Year, are showcasing their organically managed egg layer farm.  They are joined by Andy Paulios, Natural Resource Manager with Dane County Land & Water Resources Department.

Andy will lead a guided walk to share how the Alberts have worked with the neighboring county park to enhance bird habitat. Agronomists and conservationists will be on site to help with discussion and production curiosities. Light locally sourced snacks will be served.  Attendance is open to everyone but please RSVP.
