The 26th annual Women in Sustainable Agriculture (WISA) Fall Harvest Gathering(opens in new tab) is approaching and you are invited. Designed as a weekend retreat in a peaceful wood, the Gathering is for women who are motivated to improve soil health, agricultural practices, and food systems. Whether a farmer or not, as an ally and supporter, all are welcome.

The weekend has always provided a space of kindness, with good food and room for taking a deep breath. We all know that reflecting and rejuvenating is an important element of our self-care, no matter what is going on with our gut, our field, our mind, and the planet. There are other shadows testing our resilience, too: climate variables, the decrease in plant, insect, and animal diversity and populations, and yes, the pressures of an overly connected world.

You need to talk. You need to listen. You need rest.
